Zachry Group Hires Jay Diefenderfer as Engineering Head of Sales

SAN ANTONIO, July 22, 2024 – Zachry Group announced that Jason “Jay” Diefenderfer is joining Zachry Engineering Corporation (ZEC) as Vice President, Head of Sales. He joins the organization having over 30 years of sales, business development, account management, and business strategy development experience in the engineering and EPC industries.

Over the course of Mr. Diefenderfer’s career he held numerous executive sales leadership positions at Fluor, Accenture, and Worley. His most recent role was leading a sales team and maintaining key corporate accounts on a worldwide basis with a focus on the downstream, petrochemicals, and specialty chemical industries. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and will be based in ZEC’s Houston office.
