Zachry Group Hires Garry King as Senior Vice President, Engineering Services
SAN ANTONIO, August 22, 2022 — Zachry Engineering Corporation, a Zachry Group company, announced that it has hired Garry King as Senior Vice President, Engineering Services. He joins the organization as a seasoned engineering leader, having served over 30 years supporting multiple companies, industries, and geographies. Mr. King will be responsible for the expansion of the engineering services business.

Prior to joining Zachry Group, Mr. King was most recently at Black & Veatch leading their Global Conventional Generation Services business. He has extensive experience leading engineering companies who support the Power, Chemicals, Upstream, and LNG/Midstream industries. Mr. King is passionate about the construction industry, leading a three-year Construction Industry Institute (CII) research team focused on “Expanding and Enhancing Innovation.”
Mr. King earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an Executive MBA from Rice University. He will be based in Zachry Engineering Corporation’s Houston office.
